Rose has an AA in Sustainable Landscape Design and Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from Buddhist-inspired Naropa University in Boulder, CO. She spent most of her 20’s working on and managing organic vegetable and flower production farms, and has run her own landscape maintenance and design business since 2017. She is an ISA certified arborist, certified California Naturalist, and QWEL certified (Qualified Water Efficient Landscaper). Rose also works as a consulting designer and plant specialist for Equinox Landscape in Petaluma, CA. She is committed to using ecological gardening methods and emphasizes native, habitat-friendly, and edible plants in her designs.
